With nearly a decade of experience working in Hokkaido, I have been to nearly every city, town, village, mountain top, you name it. I originally started my journey as a camera assistant for a local production company that specialized in filming nature videos for the National Parks of Japan. In the many years since I have worked in the lighting department for Netflix productions, as a local producer for Disney+, producer for NPR, and as a cinematographer and director for multiple international apparel companies. My most recent film for Columbia Sportswear Japan, "The Road to Everest" recieved the HR Award for the branded movies category at the Short Shorts Film Festival in Tokyo in 2025.
